Behavior
Verbal Behavior (VB) is the behavioral analysis of language
with an initial emphasis upon teaching expressive language
and manding (requesting). Language is a behavior that
can be directly taught and increased through reinforcement
(Skinner, 1957). Any child or individual delayed in
talking or unable to communicate functionally would benefit
from verbal behavior.
